JOAN JOSEP BARCELÓ I BAUÇÀ (Palma de Mallorca – Spanien, 1953). Studium der Literatur und Wissenschaft an der Universität von Barcelona, auf den Balearen, in Madrid und London. Als literarischer Dichter und bildender Künstler hat er verschiedene Bereiche der Kultur für sich erschlossen, stets im Vordergrund dabei sein Gedanke der kontinuierlichen Erforschung, der uns neue Konzepte des Zusammenspiels von Philosophie in Wort und Bild vorstellt und uns zeigt, wie wir Gegenwart und Zukunft begegnen können, indem wir Konzepte des Paradigmenwechsels überarbeiten. Er entwickelte einen von Surrealismus und Abstraktion geprägten Stil, charakterisiert durch die Suche nach einem revolutionären Konzept, das die philosophischen und wissenschaftlichen Kriterien vertieft und uns eine Welt eröffnet, die Geistes- und Naturwissenschaften in einem einzigen verbalen und künstlerischen Körper vereint.
Als plastischer und bildender Künstler zeigen seine Bilder und Skulpturen die Verbindung zwischen natürlichen und synthetischen Materialien, die durch einen klaren künstlerischen Minimalismus in die konzeptionelle zeitgenössische Kunst eingebettet sind. Der Betrachter erlebt eine konstante Beziehung zwischen plastischer Kunst, Literatur und philosophischen Gedanken, die seine Werke mit einer subtilen und prägnanten Botschaft durchdringen, wobei sowohl in der Poesie als auch in der Kunst eine Tendenz zur Philosophie der östlichen, mediterranen und nordischen Welt besteht. Wir haben es mit einem vielseitigen Künstler und Dichter zu tun, der die Welt um sich herum als ein unteilbares Ganzes begreift, das dem Menschen von heute ein Wegweiser in die Zukunft ist.

JOAN JOSEP BARCELÓ I BAUÇÀ (Palma de Mallorca – Spain, 1953). He studied literature and science at the University of Barcelona, the Balearic Islands, Madrid and London. As a poet and plastic artist he has explored various fields of culture, with a marked character of a thought of constant research that introduces us to new concepts of the relationship between philosophy applied to the word and the visual and how to face the present and the future revising concepts of a paradigm shift. He develops a style characterized by surrealism and abstraction, in search of a revolutionary concept that deepens the philosophical and scientific criteria offering us to enter a world that unites the social and scientific sciences in a single verbal and artistic body. As a plastic and visual artist, his pictorial and sculptural works show a connection between natural and synthetic materials, with pieces framed in conceptual contemporary art in a clear artistic minimalism. We can observe the constant relationship between plastic art and literature and philosophical thought, impregnating his works with a subtle and concise message, under a tendency, both in poetry and art, towards the philosophy of the Eastern, Mediterranean and Nordic world. We are facing a multifaceted artist-poet who understands the world around him as an indivisible whole that must be a guide for the man of today to enter the future.

JOAN JOSEP BARCELÓ I BAUÇÀ (Palma de Mallorca – España, 1953). Estudió letras y ciencias en la Universidad de Barcelona, Islas Baleares, Madrid y Londres. Como poeta y artista plástico ha explorado diversos campos de la cultura, con un marcado carácter de pensamiento de constante investigación que nos introduce en nuevos conceptos de la relación entre la filosofía aplicada a la palabra y lo visual, y cómo afrontar el presente y el futuro, revisando los conceptos de un cambio de paradigma. Desarrolla un estilo caracterizado por el surrealismo y la abstracción, en busca de un concepto revolucionario que profundice en los criterios filosóficos y científicos, ofreciéndonos adentrarnos en un mundo que une las ciencias sociales y científicas en un solo cuerpo verbal y artístico. Como artista plástico y visual, sus obras pictóricas y escultóricas muestran una conexión entre materiales naturales y sintéticos, con piezas enmarcadas en el arte conceptual contemporáneo en un claro minimalismo artístico. Podemos observar la constante relación entre la plástica y la literatura y el pensamiento filosófico, impregnando sus obras de un mensaje sutil y conciso, bajo una tendencia, tanto en la poesía como en el arte, hacia la filosofía del mundo oriental, mediterráneo y nórdico. Estamos ante un artista-poeta polifacético que entiende el mundo que le rodea como un todo indivisible que debe ser una guía para que el hombre de hoy se adentre en el futuro.
