Die Wahlmallorquinerin Vivian Borsani wurde 1965 in Sao Paolo in Brasilien geboren, in einem Land, das sie nachhaltig in ihrer Kunst und Lebensfreude beeinflusst hat. Blumen, Natur, das Meer und ein zügelloser intensiver Farbrausch, der den Betrachter sofort magisch in seinen Bann zieht, prägen ihre Werke.

Ihre künstlerische Ausbildung absolvierte sie in Paris, Venedig und an der School of Visual Arts in New York. Seit über zwanzig Jahren lebt und arbeitet die europaweit und international bekannte Künstlerin auf Mallorca, auf der Insel, die auch ihre Kindheit geprägt hat. In ihrem offenen Atelier im Künstlerviertel Santa Catalina in Palma erschafft sie Blütenparadiese, Unterwasserwelten und lebensfrohe Universen aus organischen Formen. Ihre Werke gehen teilweise stark ins Abstrakte, sind jedoch stets von impressionistischen Elementen gesprägt.

Ihr Spiel mit Licht, geheimnisvollen Worten in Spiegelschrift und Farben ist emotional und lebendig zugleich. Magisch eben! Borsani veranstaltet in ihrem Atelier auch regelmäßig gemeinsam mit anderen Künstlern Ausstellungen.

Born in 1965 in São Paolo, Vivian Borsani’s Brazilian origins have had a lasting influence on her art and zest for life. Flowers, nature, the sea and an unbridled rush of intense colour that immediately captivates viewers characterise her work. She completed her artistic training in Paris, Venice and at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Renowned both in Europe and internationally, Borsani has lived and worked on Mallorca, the island that also shaped her childhood, for over twenty years now. She creates floral paradises, underwater worlds and vivid universes of organic shapes in her open studio in Palma’s artist district of Santa Catalina. While some of her works are extremely abstract, they always feature impressionistic elements. Her play with light, mysterious words in mirror writing and colours is both emotional and vibrant. Simply magical! Borsani also regularly hosts exhibitions in her studio in collaboration with other artists.

La mallorquina por elección Vivian Borsani nació en 1965 en Sao Paolo (Brasil), país que le ha influido de manera duradera en su arte y su vitalidad. Sus obras se caracterizan por las flores, la naturaleza, el mar y un desenfrenado e intenso derroche de color que hechiza inmediatamente al espectador. Cursó su formación artística en París, en Venecia y en la Escuela de Artes Visuales de Nueva York. Artista conocida en toda Europa y a nivel internacional, desde hace más de veinte años vive y trabaja en Mallorca, la isla que también marcó su infancia.

En su estudio abierto en el barrio artístico de Santa Catalina, en Palma, a partir de formas orgánicas crea paraísos florales, mundos subacuáticos y universos vitalistas. Algunas de sus obras se acercan mucho al abstracto, pero siempre se caracterizan por presentar elementos impresionistas. Su juego con la luz, el uso de palabras misteriosas en escritura invertida y los colores, resulta emotivo y vivo al mismo tiempo.¡Lo que se dice mágico! Borsani también suele montar exposiciones en su estudio junto con otros artistas.
